The WBYA Girls Lacrosse League is a fun yet competitive local recreation program. WBYA Girls Lacrosse program has partnered with the Pennsylvania Girls Lacrosse Association (PAGLA) to host teams in the k/2, 3/4, 5/6, and 7/8th grade divisions.

Equipment & Registration

  • All players must live within the DOWNINGTOWN WEST geographical boundary to register for WBYA. Players who live within the DOWNINGTOWN EAST geographical boundary should register with the Lionville Youth Association youth lacrosse program.
  • Equipment Required: lacrosse stick, protective lacrosse goggles, mouth guard, and cleats. 

Dates & Times

  • The spring lacrosse season runs from mid-March through the mid/end of May. Registration typically opens in early January and runs through early February.
  • Players can expect 7-8 games per season on Saturdays. Some travel within the surrounding areas of West Bradford for games will be necessary.

 

Ages

Boys and girls ages Kindergarten through 8th grade.

 

Locations

  • All games are played at the Downingtown Middle School, 115 Rock Raymond Road, Downingtown.
