A Message from the President - April 2010
Our parents told us, and now we tell our children: “Enjoy it now, soon enough you’ll have kids of your own to run here and there.” What we don’t tell them though is how much fun it can be! Opening day over at Beacon Hill was amazing this year, West Bradford Little League has surpassed 500 players, and the sight of all those brightly colored shirts coming onto C field, past the brand new Dug-out buildings, was thrilling, to say the least.
Down at Embreeville the excited shouts of parents and children can be heard as both lacrosse balls and soccer balls are flying around, with our children learning life lessons about teams, working together, winning and losing, and how to have fun! We have new commissioners for Soccer, Lacrosse, and Golf, a new President at WBLL, and will have new commissioners for Field Hockey and Indoor Soccer in the coming months, new ideas, new volunteers, and continued stewardship of the incredible offerings of WBYA.
WBYA remains the best value in the area for recreational sports and continues to be the best place for our children to make the friendships that will last a lifetime. See you on the fields!
