WBYA’s Boys Lacrosse is aimed at having fun while kids learn lacrosse skills they might eventually use on school teams. We compete in the Chester County Lacrosse Association league. This league consists of teams from other school districts in close proximity to West Bradford. We play some games home, and some games away, but all in the local area. WBYA usually fields an A team and a B team at each age level. This allows the kids to play at a skill level that is comfortable for them. Most of the teams practice two times a week with games played on a weeknight and/or a weekend. With the exception of the U-9 level, players are responsible for providing their own equipment, including: stick, gloves, arm pads, shoulder pads, helmet, and mouth guard. WBYA has a limited amount of helmets for rent. The U-9 level players are responsible for providing their own stick and a mouth guard. Coaches are always needed, even if they have no lacrosse experience!!
The divisions are as follows:
U-9: Must be under the age of 9 by Jan 1 of current season.
U-11: Must be under the age of 11 by Jan 1 of current season.
U-13: Must be under the age of 13 by Jan 1 of current season.
