All teams play other West Bradford teams along with traveling to play nearby District 28 teams.
Fall Ball carries a lighter game schedule and is more focused on instruction than Spring Ball. The goal is to keep the kids playing and help prepare them for the following Spring. Fall Ball is especially beneficial to the player who will be moving up a division in the Spring. It helps transition those players so they can hit the ground running in the Spring.
Fall ages are determined by how old the player will be on December 31 of this year. For example, your daughter may have played in the Minors as a 10 year old in the Spring, but by the end of the year she’ll turn 11. This means she’ll play Fall Ball as an 11 year old which is the Majors division.
Rookies Division:
There is no Rookies division offered in the Fall.
Minors Division:
Generally 8 - 9 years old, players will bat against player pitchers using an 11” ball with coaches assisting to minimize walks. Limited base stealing and walks in the first half of the season are followed by full base stealing in the second half. Games are 6 innings with a 2-hour time limit. Minors will generally play one Saturday game and one or two weeknight practices or games.
Majors Division:
Generally 10 - 11 years old, players play with a 12” ball and unrestricted rules. Games are 6 innings with a 2-hour time limit. Majors will generally play one Saturday game and one or two weeknight practices or games.
Juniors Division:
12 - 13 years old. Availability depends on registration levels. If you are interested, please contact the Softball Commissioner.
Seniors Division:
14 - 15 years old. Availability depends on registration levels. If you are interested, please contact the Softball Commissioner.
Big League Division:
16 - 18 years old. Availability depends on registration levels. If you are interested, please contact the Softball Commissioner.
